Adrian was born and raised in the Philippines and studied Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at San Beda University in Manila. After working for a few years with Punongbayan & Araullo, a local public accounting firm in the Philippines, Adrian joined Ernst & Young in Philadelphia in April 2005 primarily doing audits of wealth and asset management firms. Currently, Adrian is a Partner & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of myCIO Wealth Partners (“myCIO”). myCIO is a wealth management firm that provides investment advisory services and financial planning to Ultra-High-Net-Worth individuals and families. As of 12/31/2025, myCIO has approximately $15 billion in assets under management with more than 900 clients (mostly millionaires and billionaires). myCIO has been ranked 9th nationally and 1st in Pennsylvania out of 42,643 nominations on the Forbes/SHOOK Research list of America's Top RIA Firms. Adrian was recognized by Philadelphia Business Journal as a CFO of the Year honoree. Adrian and his wife, Jasmin, have been investing in Filipino owned / operated businesses in the US (and the Philippines) to help promote Filipino food representation in America. Adrian & Jasmin do their philanthropic commitments through Verueco Family Foundation, a 501c3 registered charitable organization that provides resources to students and educational institutions and entrepreneurs in the Philippines.
