The son of Filipino immigrants, Joe was raised in Southern California with a deep appreciation for the sacrifices, resilience, and opportunities that shaped his family's American story. Those values continue to guide his leadership and his commitment to creating pathways for future generations.

Drawing on more than 20 years of business leadership experience, Joe has led global teams, advised some of the world's largest organizations, and driven groundbreaking initiatives across the consulting and technology sectors. As his career evolved, he intentionally expanded that foundation beyond the corporate boardroom, leveraging business success to advance nonprofit governance, disability inclusion, Filipino representation, storytelling, and community impact.

Joe serves as Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of Angel City Sports, a nonprofit dedicated to creating opportunities for people with physical disabilities through adaptive sports. As a wheelchair user following a spinal cord injury in 2007, he is a passionate advocate for accessibility and inclusion, using public speaking, film, and media to challenge perceptions and elevate underrepresented voices.

His work in entertainment reflects his belief in the power of authentic storytelling to create change. Joe appeared in Sony's basketball film GOAT, which became the most successful basketball-style movie in U.S. box office history, and his recent film work screened at the Cannes Film Festival. He also serves as the face of Disneyland's Accessibility Guide, helping promote more inclusive experiences for guests of all abilities.

Whether in business, nonprofit governance, advocacy, or entertainment, Joe believes that success is most meaningful when it is used to open doors for others. He is honored to participate in the 2026 ISFFA National Conference and is passionate about advancing Filipino representation in leadership, business, entertainment, and community service.
